Two of us ventured out into the depths of the desert the other day with a group of local girls. Okay, it wasn't the depths of the desert, it was just a ten minute trip from Al Ain, but who knew that they were hiding a lake out there. With Jebel Hafeet as the backdrop, it was very pretty.
I loved the colours; the orange of the sand, the blue of the sky and the lake, the green of the bushes and the reeds and the contrast with the black abayas and shailas.
